Christen McCammon Khym
Maryville College - Class of 1996
Maryville College Equestrian Team Coach and Manager

Khym founded the Maryville College Equestrian Team in the Spring of 1994, while a student at Maryville College. She graduated from Maryville College with a BA in Biology and went on to earn a JD from the University of Tennessee.  As a student, Khym coached, managed and competed for the Maryville College Equestrian Team.  In 1996, Khym was the first to represent Maryville College at the IHSA National Horse Show.

 

Khym has managed the team since its inception and in the summer of 2008 she stepped up to coach the team full-time.  Khym grew up riding, showing hunters/jumpers and playing polo in the Chicagoland area.  She currently has private riding clients at Icon Sporthorses in addition to coaching the Maryville College Equestrian Team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Mardi Craig
Equestrian Team Faculty Sponsor

Dr. Craig is an Associate Dean at Maryville College. She has been the faculty sponsor for the club since its establishment in 1994. She is an avid horsewoman and has years of experience as a horse show mom.
